Martha Pangburn has been a school librarian for 28 years, 21 of which have been at Norman High School.  She has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University.  She achieved her National Board Certification in 2005, and has continued to maintain her certification through 2030. Martha has presented at local, state, and national conferences and is active in the Oklahoma Library Association and the American Association of School Librarians. She is the 2018 OKSL Technology in Education award winner and the 2020 OKSL Polly Clarke award winner. Martha and her husband have two teenagers, two dogs, one cat, and a hamster.

Cherity Pennington has been an Oklahoma public school educator for 27 years, including 15 years as a teacher librarian. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Education degree from East Central University and a Master of Library and Information Studies degree from the University of Oklahoma. She is a past president of the Oklahoma Library Association and served as co-editor of the American Association of School Librarians National School Library Standards, second edition. She is a 2025 Library Journal Mover and Shaker, a 2026 School Library Journal Librarian of the Year Finalist, and the 2026 Oklahoma National History Day Junior Division Teacher of the Year. Cherity and her husband have two adult sons and two extremely spoiled rescue dogs.
