Like most of you, we have been monitoring the severe weather predicted to impact our area since Sunday evening. Based on the information available at this time and out of an abundance of caution due to the timing of the potential weather threat, Norman Public Schools will be closed on Monday, November 18, 2024.
All before-school practices and activities have been canceled as well. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the early afternoon and determine whether after-school practices and activities will be impacted.
Based on the forecast provided to us at this time, we plan for after-school activities and practices to take place. Again, if it changes, we will communicate otherwise as soon as possible.
Students from both high schools scrubbed in for a day hearing from healthcare professionals learning and touring multiple Norman Regional Health System facilities. 🩺 They got a dose of real-world experience and learned what it takes to stitch together a future in healthcare. 🩹💉
