Norman Public Schools is pleased to announce two new site leaders for the 2025–2026 school year.

Tracy Dowell will serve as assistant principal at Alcott Middle School, bringing 18 years of experience in education as both an elementary classroom teacher and administrator. Most of her teaching experience has been in upper-elementary grades, and she was named her site’s Teacher of the Year in Moore in 2016. Tracy’s career has primarily been in public schools, including overseeing a hybrid learning program integrated within a traditional school setting.

She holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Marshall Wade will serve as assistant principal at Irving Middle School. He brings 11 years of experience as a PK–8 music and drama teacher and administrator. He completed his doctoral work in 2024 in Education Administration and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University. He also holds a Master of Arts in Education Leadership from Southern Nazarene and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Wade was named to Oklahoma’s NextGen 30-under-30 in the Education K–12 category for his career accomplishments and service to the community. His leadership approach is rooted in supporting the emotional well-being of students and staff to help foster a positive learning environment.
