AP SCHOLARS ANNOUNCED

At the conclusion of each school year, many NHS students take the optional AP exam for the Advanced Placement class(es) they’ve participated in all year.  Taking an AP class demonstrates a commitment to rigorous learning and taking the end-of-year exam takes that a step further.  We are so proud of all of our Advanced Placement students!

Even among these exceptional students, some have achieved special distinction.  These are our Norman High AP Scholars, as designated by the College Board.  They are:

AP SCHOLAR
(Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams)

Phineas Bonner, Charles Brockus, Emily Finocchairo, Oliver Haas, Emma Henry, Ariana Jaffery, Sydney Janda, Katie Kirkpatrick, Elaine Lindesmith, Eli McCriackin, Sage-Belize Mills, Daniela Nicholson, Ayotunde Ogunade, Lexi Ratcliff, Madeline Reinke, Sofia Simon, and Anthony Trinidad.  

 

AP SCHOLAR WITH HONOR
(Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, AND scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.)

Parker Dew, Matthew Houston, Theodore Johnson, Aspen Osgood, Roman Roberts, Aidan Sison, Olivia Tedesco, and Miranda Thai.

 

AP SCHOLAR WITH DISTINCTION
(Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, AND scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.)

Gavin Alberts, Avery Bozeman, Landon Gibbins, Robert Houston, Avery Pesek, and Justin Yang

 

**AP exams are taken in late May, so results are not available until after our seniors have graduated.  28 of our 2022 Norman High graduates also earned these distinguished honors.
