Noman football teams to clash Sept. 3

Norman High and Norman North will compete in the annual “Crosstown Clash” football game Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. on Owen Field at the University of Oklahoma. Nearly 25,000 fans are anticipated to attend the rivalry's 19th game. Live video streaming will be provided by KREF at NormanSports.tv and the game will be televised on a delay by KSBI.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at either high schools (for Norman High call 366-5812, Norman North 366-5954) or the district office (131 S. Flood Ave) during the following times:

Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1 from 8:00 to 4:00
Wednesday, September 3 from 8:00 to 6:00
Thursday, September 4 (Game Day!) from 8:00 to 4:00

Prior to the game, fans can dine at "Taste of Norman," where 30 local restaurants will offer samples of their most popular food items at the OU Mosier Indoor Practice Facility. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and close just before kickoff. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from NHS and NNHS band students, from the main offices of the two high schools, and from all three Republic Bank branches. Tickets for Taste of Norman, as well as tickets to the football game, will also be available at the Norman Public Schools building at 131 S. Flood in the Athletics Director's office through Sept. 3, and at the door of the event. Proceeds benefit Norman High and Norman North's band programs.
