NPS Board hires key athletic positions

Norman Public Schools has hired Courtne St. Claire as head fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball coach at Norman High School. Courtne has recently been the assistant softball coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she also played collegiately. "I feel Courtne's collegiate experience as both a player and a coach will be a huge asset as she builds the NHS softball program," says NPS Athletic Director T.D. O'Hara. "I look forward to watching the NHS softball program grow under her direction."

Norman Publics Schools has hired Trey Palacol as head fast-pitch softball coach at Norman North High School. Coach Palacol will also serve as assistant slow-pitch coach. Coach Palacol has recently been an assistant slow-pitch coach at Washington Public Schools. Coach Palacol was an assistant coach on the 2015 State Championship team for the Washington Lady Warriors. "Coach Palacol has served as an assistant under several successful head coaches and programs," says NPS Athletic Director T.D. O'Hara. "I feel this will benefit him greatly as he leads the Norman North program. I look forward to watching the NNHS program grow under his guidance."
