Spanish Language Academy
This full-day program will be hosted at Truman Primary (Pre-K - 2nd). For the 2026-2027 school year; an entry-level Pre-K will be available. For Kinder - 2nd grade classes may have availablity (more information coming). Each year, the next grade will be added until the 5th grade is reached.
Truman Primary or Truman Elementary will become the student's home school and the regular elementary schedule of 7:50 AM – 2:50 PM will be followed.
Enrollment is contingent on meeting all NPS requirements. The SLA is voluntary, and transportation may not be provided outside school boundaries, though accommodations may be available for Norman residents with no personal transportation.
Program Goals
Develop communicative and academic proficiency in both Spanish and English.
Support students in succeeding academically at levels comparable to English-only instruction.
Foster understanding and appreciation of other cultures.
