School Telehealth Program

The Norman Regional Kids Virtual Care program allows students the opportunity to see a healthcare provider during school hours without ever leaving school.

After communicating with a parent/guardian, the school health professional will initiate a virtual visit. The virtual visit takes place in the health center using the TytoCare device that allows the provider to view and access the child and their symptoms.

Common conditions that can be treated through a virtual visit:

  • Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever)

  • Asthma Flare-up

  • Ear Infection

  • Flu-like Symptoms

  • Sinus Infection

  • Skin Rash

  • Sore Throat

  • Upper Respiratory Infection
