Why substitute teach?

Rates:

  • Certified Guest Teachers - $100 a day

  • Non-certified Guest Teachers - $85 a day

  • Long-term Guest Teachers (as determined by length of time committed to one position and approved by HR) - $145 a day

  • Paraprofessionals - $10 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Lead instruction in the classroom by executing existing lesson plans

  • Motivate students to learn and participate

  • Assume duties of the regular classroom teacher in accordance with school rules

  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students      

Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
