Enrollment
All families must complete registration every year. Registration may be completed entirely online. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need assistance, call your school or visit us at our Enrollment Center (when it is open in July).
New Student Online Registration
Be sure to add all your students during online registration.
Please include all school-aged children in the Student section of online registration, even if they are not currently enrolling in a Norman school.
Include children who are not school-age in the Other Household Members section of online registration, so their basic information is in our student information system.
Existing Student Online Registration
Returning families complete registration for the next school year through Parent Portal (linked under "more" then "Online Registration").
Returning families should add additional students (including new Pre-K and Kindergarten children) during online registration.
Pre-K Placement / Enrollment
Norman Public Schools values early learning opportunities and is proud to offer Pre-K at every elementary site. NPS Pre-K programs foster all areas of development including intellectual, social, emotional, language, and physical within an active, engaging environment.
Transfers
There are two types of transfer requests:
Intra-district transfers are for students who live in the attendance boundaries of NPS but are requesting to attend an NPS school that is not their home/neighborhood school.
Open transfers are for students who live outside of the attendance boundaries of NPS but request to attend an NPS school.
