Daily Fine Arts Experiences
Students in full-day Pre-K attend Music and Movement class every day. This unique program helps students improve both large and small motor skills, provides practice in coordination and balance, and to learn songs, rhymes, finger plays, dance movements, and more. Students in Kindergarten attend daily activity classes like music, PE, and art to receive enriching education in fine arts and health science learning objectives in alignment with the Oklahoma Academic Standards.
Research-Based Curriculum
Norman Public Schools (NPS) uses a research-based curriculum that follows the Oklahoma Academic Standards. Our developmentally appropriate programs foster a love of learning and inspire growth in areas of social, intellectual, emotional, physical, and language development. Students also have access to high-quality literature in our school libraries.
