Madison Site Goals 2017-2018

Reading:  All students in grades K-5 will demonstrate at least one year of growth as assessed by the Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA).

 Micro-Goal 1

100% of all 3-5 grade students will complete an average of 8 Achieve 3000

activities per month with an accuracy rate of 75% or higher.

Micro-Goal 2

100% of all 1-2 grade students will meet the weekly time recommendation in

Smarty Ants to reach the end of current grade level with an accuracy rate of 85%

or higher.

Mathematics:  All students will be on benchmark after taking the district EOY math benchmark assessment in grades 1-5.

Micro-Goal 1

100% of all student will score 80% or higher on the math

2.0 standard (number operations and fluency) using district benchmark

assessment data.

Micro-Goal 2

100% of all 1-5 grade students will complete an average of 12 Reflex Math

activities per month with an overall “green light” rate of 80% of higher.

School Climate/Culture: Increase overall student attendance from 90% to 94% in order to better support student involvement/engagement across the campus in activities beyond the typical classroom experience.

Micro-Goal 1

Create and facilitate a “problem-solving” office for students to mediate their

difference with one another (supported by the counseling office).

 Micro-Goal 2

Increase the number of student lead extra-curricular opportunities from 4 to 8.

 Micro-Goal 3

Increase the frequency with which the school counselor leads social groups

sessions from monthly/bi-weekly to weekly.
