Like most of you, we have been monitoring the severe weather predicted to impact our area since Sunday evening. Based on the information available at this time and out of an abundance of caution due to the timing of the potential weather threat, Norman Public Schools will be closed on Monday, November 18, 2024.
All before-school practices and activities have been canceled as well. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the early afternoon and determine whether after-school practices and activities will be impacted.
Based on the forecast provided to us at this time, we plan for after-school activities and practices to take place. Again, if it changes, we will communicate otherwise as soon as possible.

Talking to your kids about substance abuse use can be intimidating. The Talk They Hear You app can help.
The app shows parents how to turn everyday situations into opportunities to talk with their kids about alcohol and other drugs. It also equips them with the necessary skills, confidence, and knowledge to start and continue these conversations as their kids get older! #NPSMentalHealthMonday
