Arrival

Students may not arrive before 7:25 a.m.

• All students will enter through the sensory path doors near the gym. Students are not permitted to enter through the office.

• Car riders must be dropped off in the car line; this is for safety. Please do not allow your car rider to walk across the street unaccompanied. The car line is located on Regent St.; it is easiest to enter from Berry St.

• School begins at 7:50 a.m. If your student is arriving late, please park safely and walk your student to the front office.

Dismissal

Transportation Changes:

• Please call the front office with transportation changes before 2:00 p.m. to ensure that your student goes home the correct way.

Bus Riders:

• Only students routed by transportation can ride the bus. Please see the transportation page or contact the front office for more information.

• We cannot allow students to get off at a different stop with a friend.

Car Line:

• The car line is located on Regent; please enter from Berry.

• The car line will not begin moving until 2:50 p.m.

• Your student will not be dismissed to you if you do not have your car tag.

• Car riders are not allowed to be called/dismissed to parents that walk-up; this is for safety. Please call the office ahead of time if you need your student to walk home.

Walkers:

• Due to the large volume of car and bus traffic, walkers will not be released until 3:10 p.m.

• Walkers are released from the sensory path doors.

• The car line is not permitted to call your walker out of the building.

Early Check-Out

Please bring a valid photo ID to sign your student out. This is required any time you are checking your student out during school hours, including if the nurse has sent them home. This is to ensure the safety our students.

We understand that signing your student out is unavoidable at times. However, early check-outs affect student learning, socialization, and attendance. Please try to avoid signing your student out regularly.

Visitors

All visitors are required to sign in at the front office to enter the building during school hours. You must have a valid photo ID to sign in.
