It’s GO TIME! Help us get the year up and running with 100% of our paraprofessional positions filled! Our teachers and students need YOU!
$500 signing bonus paid in November for the next 50 highly-qualified paraprofessionals hired in Norman Public Schools between August 15 and October 1, 2022!
These GO TIME paras will receive an additional $500 retention bonus, if they continue their employment through the last day of school with students in May.
What is a highly-qualified paraprofessional?

Tier 1:
-
48 hours of college credit
-
Taken and passed the ParaPro, WorkKeys, or OGET certification tests.

Tier 2:
-
These para professionals will be placed in a special education/resource classroom, and must also complete CPR training, first aid, and 6 hours of additional professional training within the first 120 days of employment, which the district will provide.

Special education and resource room paraprofessionals also receive the 5% special education addenda.
