Free Meal Service for Students in Need
Nutrition Update: We are delighted to share that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the free meal program. School breakfasts and lunches are free to ALL students, and to anyone 18-years-old or younger (effective September 2020 through August 2021, or until funds for the program are depleted). Norman Public Schools also will continue to offer meals to any child 18-years-old or younger during remote learning.
Families must fill out the pre-order form to receive meals.
OPTION 1 - Students enrolled in the full-time virtual learning option:
- Weekly meals (seven breakfast and seven lunches) are available curbside Monday and Tuesday each week from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the NPS Central Kitchen, located at 111 N. Berry Rd. in the Health Services Parking Lot. Please pre-order your meals by clicking the link below. Families who cannot pick up weekly meals on Monday or Tuesday are encouraged to contact our Child Nutrition office at 405-366-5908 to make alternative arrangements. Families may only pick up weekly meals for their children one time per week.
OPTION 2 - Students enrolled in the traditional learning option:
- Weekend meals (two breakfasts and two lunches) are offered curbside on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the NPS Central Kitchen, located at 111 N. Berry Rd. in the Health Services Parking Lot. Please pre-order your meals by clicking the link below. Families who cannot pick up weekend meals on Thursday or Friday are encouraged to contact our Child Nutrition office at 405-366-5908 to make alternative arrangements. Families may only pick up weekend meals for their children one time per week.
Families who drive to the Central Kitchen are encouraged to stay in their car. The weekly meals will be distributed in a drive-through fashion. Families with students doing virtual learning or have siblings not in school yet must preorder at the link above and pick up meals from the NPS Central Kitchen.

The Norman Public School District complies with and/or exceeds all USDA requirements for healthy meals, providing Child Nutrition services through a contractual agreement with Nutrition Solutions, dba Sodexo Inc. The Central Kitchen is located at 111 N. Berry and the Child Nutrition office can be contacted at 405.366.5908.
