Enrollment

  • All families must complete enrollment every year. Enrollment may be completed entirely online and we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to enroll. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance, please call your school site.

    Returning families complete enrollment for the next school year through Parent Portal. Returning families should add additional students (including new Pre-K and Kindergarten children) during online enrollment.

    Families who do not have children currently enrolled in Norman Public Schools need to complete new student enrollment, linked below.

2024-2025 Pre-K Enrollment

  • Pre-K children who have not been placed at a school site must contact Early Childhood before completing online enrollment so school assignments can be made based on capacity in the Pre-K program. Receiving a school assignment in advance helps us process online enrollment efficiently.

Documents Required

  • You will need the following to complete enrollment:

    All Students

    • Proof of Address - A current utility bill, current lease, mortgage
    • Immunization Records - New record is required for all Kindergarten and 7th grade students

    New Students in your Household (if any)

    • Proof of Address - A current utility bill, current lease, mortgage statement, or current affidavit of residence showing a parent/guardian’s name and address
    • Birth Certificate
    • Transcript (if applicable)
    • Immunization Records

    Please save digital copies of the required documents to the computer you will use for online enrollment so they are available to attach during the process. Maximum file size 3mb.

    If you are not able to upload documents during enrollment, you should email them directly to your student's school. Enrollment is not complete until all documents are received. School Contact List.

    Please include all school-aged children in the Student section of online enrollment, even if they are not currently enrolling in a Norman school.

    Include children who are not school-age in the Other Household Members section of online enrollment so their basic information is in our student information system.

Enrollment in Person

  • Enrollment may be completed entirely online, however, if you need assistance, call 405-364-1339 or visit your school attendance area before May 23, 2024 and after August 1, 2024.

    In-person assistance times are listed below:

    • Elementary schools: Monday - Friday | 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
    • Middle Schools: Monday - Friday | 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
    • High Schools: Monday - Friday | 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

     

ENROLLMENT CENTER - JULY 8 - 24, 2024

  • The NPS Enrollment Center will be available in July if you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance during the Summer. Appointments preferred, walk-ins welcome. Walk-ins may incur longer wait times.

      • Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM 
      • Monday through Thursday - 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
