You Should Know...

  •   

    • Help keep Norman North Healthy!.

      -Wash your hands throughout the day with soap and water.

      -Cover your cough

      -Make sure your mask covers your mouth and nose

      -Socially distance whenever possible

      -Stay home if you are feeling unwell

    • Seniors...it’s imperative that you verify the correct name and spelling for your diploma.  Please do so electronically through this link:  THE DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26th.

    • Seniors..The deadline to complete PFL is Friday, March 12th.  PFL is a state graduation requirement completed through the “Mind Your Own Budget” program.  If you have any questions please see your counselor.

       

       

    • DECA is now selling Jumbo Pretzels with cheese in The North Place during lunches.  They are $2.50 and they are huge.  DECA is also selling Cheese Nachos for $1.50 and Frito Chili Pies for $2.00.  Come try the new items - they are delicious.

       

       

    • DECA’s Cookie Day today.  

       

       

    • Free After School Tutoring Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5:15 in the CCC. Sign up using the flyers around the school, or see Mrs. Whitehead in C106 for more details

Yearbook 411

    • Please check out nnhshowl.com as your source for Norman North News.  Our online news magazine is called The Howl.


    • Students who haven’t picked up last-year’s book, HIGHLIGHTS, can continue to contact the yearbook staff via email (normannorthhighyearbook@gmail.com) or text (4055820402).  Currently, distribution is by appointment only.  After October 12th, we will implement an in-school distribution plan.

       

       

    • Northward Bound is now using Walsworth as our yearbook publisher.  Go to: walsworthyearbooks.com to order the 20/21 yearbook (vol. 24).

      1. “Positive” Environment
      2.   Throwing objects in the stands or on floor is prohibited
      3.   No outside food or drink
      4.   Students are to stay off the gym floor(remain in the stands)
      5.   Must pay for re-entry into games
      6.   Student seating for NNHS will be South side  & East end
      7.   NNHS students will exit the gym normal exit
      8.   Noise makers and signs are prohibited

    • Boys basketball is in need of a manager. Please come see Coach Mccoy if anyone is interested

       

       

    • Are you interested in sports and the medical field? Student athletic trainers are needed this semester. Apply online at Norman North Athletic Training.

       

       

    • Crosstown Clash Ticket Information:  NN Boys Basketball will take on the NHS Tigers this Saturday at 7pm. JV Boys game will be at 5:30pm   Student Tickets will be sold beginning on Wednesday, 1/13 at 8am in the NN Athletic Office (FRAC).  There are 50 student tickets available and will be sold on a first come first serve basis for $5.00 each.  Each student may only purchase one ticket.
