Martha Pangburn, Teacher Librarian

Martha Pangburn has been a school librarian for 20 years, 13 of which have been at Norman High School.  She has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma (although she often says,"Go Pokes") and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University.  She achieved her National Board Certification in 2005, and recently renewed her certification through 2025. Martha has presented at local and state conferences, including OTA/Encyclomedia, the OLA Conference, Innovative Leadership Institute, iCon, SPLASH, GET FIT, and the Oklahoma Social Studies and Fine Arts Conference.  She has also presented at the national level at the American Association of School Librarian's Conferences and the High Schools That Work Staff Development Conference.  Martha has been active in the Oklahoma Library Association as a member and chair of the Sequoyah Book Award High School Reading Team and the Sequoyah Book Awards Administrative Team.  Martha is also a Guided Inquiry Design district trainer for NPS and the 2018 OKSL Technology in Education award winner. She is married to Joshua, a 5th grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary, and has two active 6 year olds!

Chloe Summers, Teacher Librarian

Chloe Summers is a first-year school librarian who is passionate about reading, learning, and making. She served as the summer school librarian for Norman Public Schools last summer, interned at Longfellow middle school, and worked on a research project involving Guided Inquiry Design and Making. She is a member of OLA and OKSL.
