Norman Public Schools offers students a variety of courses in Business & Computer Science. The courses spiral in difficulty level and students may apply to Moore Norman Technical Center in their sophomore year to pursue industry level training. About DECA
DECA is an international organization that focuses on Marketing, Business Management, Finance, Hospitality & Tourism and Entrepreneurship. It is a Co-Curricular program so everyone enrolled in a marketing class is required to join DECA. The annual dues are between $25 & $40 depending on the school. There are state and international competitions available for students that choose to compete as well as numerous opportunities to further a student’s marketing knowledge. Both Norman and Norman North DECA programs are extremely active and compete heavily.
