Dear Madison Family
May 6, 2023
Madison's Teacher Appreciation Week is Here!!!
Don't forget that there are number of ways that you and your family can get involved and show your appreciation for your student's teacher(s). See the snap shot below with ideas for each day of the week.
- Monday, May 8th - You Make Us Bloom! - bring your teacher a flower (fresh, homemade, or even drawn)
- Tuesday, May 9th - Teachers Are Noteworthy! - write your teacher a note explaining how they have positively impacted your life this year or simply write them a thank you note
- Wednesday, May 10th - Supply Them With Thanks! - pick up any supplies your teacher is running low on for your class (keep it simple)
- Thursday, May 11th - My Teacher's A Treat! - treat your teacher to her favorite snack, beverage or candy
- Friday, May 12th - Thank You For Making Our Future Bright! - with your parents' help, send a picture or a video (through Seesaw or email) of yourself in your sun glasses holding a sign telling your teacher thank you
We can't do this without you, so help us make this year's teacher appreciation week a GREAT week for all of our Madison teachers!

Enrollment's Open for the 23-24 School Year
Enrollment is now open for the 2023-2024 school year. We are asking that all families complete enrollment before this school year ends to help make the transition into next year run smoother.
All families must complete enrollment every year. Enrollment may be completed entirely online by clicking here, and we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to enroll. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance, contact the school office.
You will need to save digital copies of the required documents to the computer you will use for online enrollment so they are available to attach during enrollment. All households must provide proof of address - a current utility bill, current lease, mortgage statement or current affidavit of residence showing a parent/guardian’s name and address.
New students will need proof of address, birth certificate, immunization record, IEP (if applicable), and transcript (if applicable).
Enrollment is for both new and returning students. If your family has existing and new students, start enrollment from your parent portal and “add another student” in the student section of online registration. Enrollment is completed once to include all students in your household.
Enrollment for returning students must be completed through your Parent Portal account. If you do not remember your Parent Portal username or password, call your school site for assistance. If you do not have a Parent Portal, please click here and complete the form to request an account.
If you have any questions about enrollment or need assistance, please feel free to contact Madison Elementary at (405) 366-5910.

NPS Severe Weather Message Reminder
The safety and security of our students and staff is always our number one priority. In the event that severe weather occurs during school hours and the Norman emergency sirens are activated, please know that all students and staff will shelter in our designated severe weather rooms/areas. If this occurs, the doors will be locked and a sign will be placed on the front doors. During this time, no one will be available to help you or allow you to enter the building. Once the severe weather has passed and we are notified that it is safe to return to classrooms, the doors will be unlocked.
