All-City Events

  • The history of Norman Public Schools All-City events has been one of evolution and growth. From the beginning, our events have been firmly based on collaboration and cooperation among students, teachers, volunteers and the community. The structure and quality of our events have earned state and even national accolades as evidenced by numerous requests as to "what we do and how we do it." Student artworks have been featured at the state level and also in a nationwide educational publication. Presentations have been given at state level events and a national convention, and the ABC News Division has featured three of our events.

The success of our students and the success of these events are grounded in outstanding instruction by gifted and dedicated teachers with the support of our Board of Education, district and site administrators, school faculty, support staff and a wonderful fine arts staff. "All-City" may hold different meanings for those involved in creating, performing or observing, but the cumulative positive impact of the experience is undeniable. In the arts, the learning process is all the more powerful because we are able to link the skills we build on a daily basis with memorable events. It is our hope that you will support and attend our events and that you will enjoy and be proud of what our students present.
