    • 2 high school students awarded an $8,000 4-year Ruth Mershon Scholarship by Oklahoma City Community Foundation
    • 1 high school student awarded a $1,000 4-year Garner-Stocker Foundation Scholarships by Oklahoma City Community Foundation
    • 168 students offered scholarships (36% of the class);  $6,053,889 worth of scholarships were accepted by the 2017 senior class 
    • 31 students obtained a 4.0 GPA 
    • 11 high school students were semifinalists in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program 
    • 4 students received awards as National Merit Scholars
    • 1 student received an award as National Merit semi-finalist
    • 1 student received commendation for National Merit 
    • One high school debate team recognized as a member of the “200 Club” by the National Speech/Debate Association placing the school in the top 8% of high schools nationwide 
    • 8 middle school students received Grand Recognition in Duke University TIP Talent Search
    • 39 middle school students received State Recognition in Duke University TIP Talent Search 
    • One school received Honorable Mention in the National Alternative Education Association Video Contest 
    • 1 student received 1st place, 1 student received 2nd place and 2 students received 3rd place in the Neustadt Writing High School Awards 
    • District-wide received the National award in Scholastic Art & Writing, the Gold & Silver Key Regional award and the Scholastic Regional Honorable Mention
    • One high school received the Regional award in Scholastic Art & Writing
    • A middle school team comprised of 5 students won State at Academic Team 
    • 2 high school students won Presidential Scholar Semi-Finalist awards
    • 1 high school student recognized as Newman Scholar for Chinese Studies 
    • 1 high school student given the Newman Young Writers award 
    • 4 students won 1st place in the Indigenous Knowledge Bowl Competition 
    • 5 students won runner-up in the Oklahoma Indian Challenge Bowl 
    • 6 students won 1st place, 6 students won 2nd place and 5 students won 3rd place in the Battle of the Books 
    • 1 elementary student won the Bureau of Indian Affairs Tribal Student Climate Change Photo Contest 
    • 1 high school Marching Band won Superior recognition at the State contest 
    • 7 high school students scored in the top 2.5% of Hispanic and Latino Students on the PSAT 
    • 1 high school received College & Career Transition Exemplar status for the 2016-2017 ACT College and Career Readiness Campaign 
    • 1 student scored a Perfect Score of 36 on the ACT 
    • 1 high school student chosen as a United States Senate Youth Program delegate 
    • 1 high school received the Oklahoma College and Career Transition Award 
    • 1 student won 1st place in the Statewide Oklahoma Bar Association Law Day contest for 10th Grade Writing 
    • 1 high school team named Western OK National Speech & Debate Association District Champion 
    • 5th grade Academic Team named Oklahoma District Champions 
    • 9 high school students named as finalists in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship program 
    • 3 high school students named Academic All State Scholars by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence 
    • 1 high school DECA program chosen as the Winningest Program in Oklahoma with 3 students elected to the State Executive Council of Oklahoma DECA 
    • 9 high school students took 1st place, 12 students took 2nd place and 7 students took 3rd place in the DECA State Competition 
    • 11 high school students named as finalists in the DECA State Competition 
    • 1 high school student took 1st place, 1 student took 2nd place and 2 students took 3rd place in DECA State awards 
    • District-wide 6 students were recipients of Marshall Gregory awards 
    • 1 student received Essay award from the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of English Young Writers 
    • 1 student received Honorable Mention for poem; was invited to perform at national conference for the National Alternative Education Association
    • 1 class received the “Open-Mindedness” award given through the Generation Citizen 
    • 1 high school was the Co-Grand Champion of Civics Day through Generation Citizen 
    • 2 students received All-State awards from OK Academic 
    • 7 students received National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars 
    • 1 middle school student named Individual State Champion in MathCounts Competition 
    • 1 middle school student took 2nd place, 1 student took 4th place in the State MathCounts Competition 
    • 15 middle school students took 2nd place in the Science Olympiad Competition 
    • 47 students admitted to the Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society
