You Should Know...


    • Help keep Norman North Healthy!.

      -Wash your hands throughout the day with soap and water.

      -Cover your cough

      -Make sure your mask covers your mouth and nose

      -Socially distance whenever possible

      -Stay home if you are feeling unwell


    • Please bring your own mask.  We are almost out! 



    • Cookie day is today and Friday.



    • Seniors..If you are needing to borrow a cap/gown for graduation please see Ms. Celina in the main office as soon as possible.  We have a limited number of gowns that will be available for check out.  



    • There is free after school tutoring for all grads and subjects in the CCC on Tuesdays and Thursdays. See Mrs. Whitehead in C106 for more information.


    • Seniors...it’s imperative that you verify the correct name and spelling for your diploma. Please do so electronically through this link:  THIS IS PAST DUE!!


    • Students: There are 3 National ACT test dates remaining for this school year. The next ACT test date is April 17th; students must register online by March 12th. Go to act.org to register.


    • The SAT with essays April 14th in person at school. Every Junior student including virtual are expected to attend to complete the graduation requirements. There is no sign up necessary. 



    • April 14…. ONLY Juniors (including virtual juniors) will report to the building for the SAT.  All other grades will work from canvas at home those days.  Only Juniors will be allowed in the building.  



    • Spring Photos will be held Thursday, April 8th in the Freshman Commons. ANY SENIOR who has not taken the Cap & Gown portrait for the yearbook should attend, especially if you want a senior photo in the yearbook. Please contact soglesby@norman.k12.ok.us for further assistance.



    • Senior: If you would like pictures included in the Senior Video at graduation, please submit 2 pictures by 4/11 to nnhs21seniors@gmail.com. You may choose which pictures you would like to submit. However, we suggest sending one baby picture and one senior picture. 



    • Juniors: If you applied to Moore Norman Tech Center, be sure to check your email today and this weekend for your enrollment status and next steps!



NNHS Prom 2021

  • Who: All NNHS Juniors and Seniors {yes, virtual students can attend!}

    What: NNHS Prom 2021

    Where: Norman North High School

    When: Saturday, April 24th -- 7-10pm

    Price: $30/ticket

    Purchase Passes and Guest Passes Reminders:


    • All NNHS Juniors and Seniors must have a Purchase Pass completed in the 4 areas listed on the pass before they will be allowed to purchase tickets. Both passes are available in: library, commons, book room and front office. We have attached both passes here and here, in case you’d like to print on your own.
    • If you plan on bringing a guest from outside of NNHS, you must also complete the Guest Pass and return to the front office by deadline (Friday, April 16th).
    • All NNHS students and/or their guests CANNOT be classified as a Sophomore or lower, and age cannot exceed 21 for guests.


    Important Information (including adjustments for COVID protocols)


    • Tickets will be $30/each, and include: Entrance, dancing option with limitations, T-shirt, all other “grab and go” goodies
    • Tickets will be on sale IN PERSON during Upperclassmen lunch. They will be sold the week before prom (Monday 4/19-Friday 4/23). We will accept cash or check, but you can make arrangements to pay via card with Susan Tipps in the front office.
    • Virtual students may attend, but will need to contact Mrs. Gann to make arrangements for ticket purchase; must still have completed passes--email lgann@norman.k12.ok.us with questions.
    • Masks are required.

Club News

    • Fenris, Norman North’s Creative Writing Anthology, is on sale in room C104.  The anthology will include last year’s and this year’s accepted pieces.  Copies are $18.00 and come with a free personalized Fenris bookmark. Money is due by April 15.

Yearbook 411

    • Please check out nnhshowl.com as your source for Norman North News.  Our online news magazine is called The Howl.

    • Students who haven’t picked up last-year’s book, HIGHLIGHTS, can continue to contact the yearbook staff via email (normannorthhighyearbook@gmail.com) or text (4055820402).  Currently, distribution is by appointment only.  After October 12th, we will implement an in-school distribution plan.



    • Northward Bound is now using Walsworth as our yearbook publisher.  Go to: walsworthyearbooks.com to order the 20/21 yearbook (vol. 24).

      2.   Throwing objects in the stands or on floor is prohibited
      3.   No outside food or drink
      4.   Students are to stay off the gym floor(remain in the stands)
      5.   Must pay for re-entry into games
      6.   Student seating for NNHS will be South side  & East end
      7.   NNHS students will exit the gym normal exit
      8.   Noise makers and signs are prohibited
