From all of us at Madison Elementary, let me be the first to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving Break. We are so thankful for our Madison Family and the greater Norman community for all its support throughout the school year. We are very thankful for what we have and who we are surrounded with daily at Madison.
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving Break with your family next week (Nov. 21 - Nov. 25)!!!
Madison Share Your Shelf Drive Extended
Every year Madison Elementary looks for ways in which it can give back to support our local community who always takes care of us. This year, with the help of the Madison Student Council, we will be supporting the Christmas Store of Cleveland County who provides meals for low-income families in our community during the holiday season. Madison students and their families can help by contributing nonperishable food items at your school (ie; canned foods and other prepackaged foods). Madison will continue to collect donations next week, November 14th - November 18th. If you would like to help out this year, please send your contribution with your student or drop them off in the front office prior to the Thanksgiving Break.
Thank you for sharing your shelf to make the holiday season brighter for our neighbors!

NPS School Perception Survey-Feedback Needed
Norman Public Schools is seeking parent/guardian input through a School Perception Survey. This survey aims to understand your opinions about student learning, school safety, and overall school climate in Norman. Your responses will be helpful in improving district efforts to support the mental, emotional, social, and behavioral health of students as well as Norman's readiness to implement prevention practices in these areas. The survey is completely anonymous and brief; it contains 56 questions and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Survey results will be used to inform and develop appropriate strategies, procedures, and/or programs to enhance our school climate. You may access the survey by clicking here or by using the QR code located in the picture to the right. It will be open for response until November 30th.
